When a child needs protection and is unable to remain at home, foster parents provide a temporary environment that honors true childhood. Foster parents embrace children, value their family connections, and provide a home free of abuse and neglect until they can return home, be adopted, or live independently. Adams County Foster Care Program is committed to assuring foster parents have adequate training, support, and resources to promote the child’s best interest.

Our program strives to partner with our community to meet the needs of the children and youth in our county. We base our work on the mission and vision of Adams County, as well as our own mission statement to be innovative, collaborative, and diligent in promoting diversity and inclusivity within our foster home community.
